Kayla S. O’Connor
Kayla S. O’Connor, Esq. is a property damage associate attorney with Palumbo Law. One hundred percent of Attorney O’Connor’s practice is devoted to litigation. Kayla’s primary focus is in the area of bad faith insurance litigation. Kayla has experience in cases that involve fire damage insurance claims that have been wrongfully denied, delayed and/or underpaid, water damage insurance claims, mold and rot claims, ice dam insurance claims, vandalism claims, theft claims, insurance agent negligence and more.
Prior to joining the Law Offices of Richard Palumbo, LLC, Kayla worked as an Associate Attorney at Gianfrancesco & Friedemann, LLP, where she gained significant trial and motion practice experience while handling a broad variety of civil matters involving personal injury, breach of contract, and landlord tenant disputes. During her time at Gianfrancesco & Friedemann, LLP, Kayla also successfully litigated a number of complex bad faith insurance claims arising out of ice dam, flood and fire losses to her clients’ homes and businesses, which inspired her to focus her ongoing practice primarily in this area.
Kayla is a cum laude graduate of Roger Williams University School of Law, where she was actively involved in the Law School’s Honors Program. Before attending law school, Kayla graduated magna cum laude from Saint Joseph’s University in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, where she double-majored in English and Spanish and served as Captain of the University’s cheerleading team.
